Peter J. CaramanisBusiness Phone: (434) 296-2161 Pete Caramanis has over a decade of experience helping individuals and businesses accomplish their goals. His clients have ranged from individuals seeking to start a small business to major national corporations. He has represented clients in courts of law and before governmental bodies throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia, including trials in various state courts and U. S. District Courts, appeals to the Supreme Court of Virginia and U. S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and zoning hearings before City Councils, Boards of Supervisors, Planning Commissions and Boards of Zoning Appeals. Pete can provide assistance with drafting legal documents and negotiating complex business transactions. He has resolved many business/legal disputes through negotiation, and has successfully litigated disputes that could not be amicably resolved. He has obtained governmental approvals for all manner of mixed use, commercial and residential developments, as well as dozens of telecommunications sites on behalf of two national carriers. He has also litigated eminent domain matters on behalf of private land owners and condemning authorities. In addition, Pete has broad real estate experience including commercial and residential sales and purchases, lending matters, curing title defects, restrictive covenants, neighborhood associations and landlord/tenant matters. Pete prides himself on developing and maintaining trusting and lasting relationships with his clients. He graduated from the University of Virginia and the University of Richmond School of Law. He began his career in Charlottesville with Tremblay & Smith in 1999, and joined Scott Kroner, PLC as a partner in 2011.
