Armonde Paxson, who had been in practice in Charlottesville since his graduation from law school in 1930, formed the firm of Paxson, Marshall & Smith with David B. Marshall and William Massie Smith. The firm has since evolved and expanded to include a growing and diverse client base. Now named Scott | Kroner, PLC, in recognition of principal members W. Stephen Scott (retired 2014) and Robert J.
